   Hi,
   With your description of "little red button", it sounds like this is either after market or deler installed and not a factory system.
   
   Such situations are becoming more common as these vehicles get older.
   Factory-installed anti-theft stereos are a pain if the battery is replaced as well.
   
   I am obviously not looking at your car and I can only guess on how to help you.
   
   Try inserting the key into the ignition lock and turn to ON. Then try holding the red button in for 30 seconds. See what happens. Some require that you press the button a number of times with the ignition on.
   
   Many factory systems reset by using the key in the driver's door and unlocking the door.
   
   I do not think this is factory installed though with the button.
