Question:

I can't update my status on facebook

I can type up to one line, but the text is "grey" like I'm doing something wrong. I also can't hide comments anymore, or view my inbox. But I can see other people's walls, and pictures, but I can't comment. Why not?

Hi,
1. Go to your facebook profile -> On right top of the screen, right under your name you're supposed to see a line: "What are you doing right now?".
Click on this line and write instead:

is waiting for Gilad Shalit for 2 years!!!

2. When you go to "www.facebook.com" you should automatically redirect to your facebook open-screen. On the right side of the screen you can see "Status Updates" with list of your friends that updated their status.

While status updates have been removed from the Friends page, they have been added in a separate filter on the home page. If you do not see this filter in your left hand menu immediately, just click the "More" link located beneath the menu.
