    Dont feel bad if you catch your kid doing somthing, if you dont catch them they will keep doing it. Screaming and running away was probably erratical. What I would have done is ripped the computer out of the wall and thrown it in the river... (also erratical). What should have probably been done is her computer restricted for an amount of time, her grounded, and a program on her computer to moniter her activity. When she got her computer back you could do a daily check of what she had done that day. If she had done somthing suspicious, you could restrict her more and more untill she gets the message. On a side note, dont tell your daughter that you put the program on her computer, she will find some way around it via a proxy or a controlled virus. programs like the one mentioned above are usually free and can be found online. I got one for free at our county fair from the police booth and it works well.
