I have a problem playing HD audio (Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master). Denon 1910 works with the LG BD-390 on the cable HDMI 1.3. I tried 2 copies of the Samsung BD-P1580 and the effect is the same. Receiver shows that it is the type of sound but is quiet. Change chapter on the disc to the front or rear makes the sound appears and then it already is. This problem does not occur in cooperation with the Samsung BD-P1500. And here I suspected a defect of the new Samsung BD-P1580. However, two copies of the model and the LG BD390 now show that there is some defect decoder Denon.

    I've got a 1910 paired with a Philips 3000, and i have this problem. What works for me is... start the movie, then when the HD lights up re-select the bd player on the reciever remote. Sometimes once is enough, sometimes up to 4 times is needed. Not Ideal i know,but IT WORKS!! I am trying to find a better fix but haven't as yet. Hope this helps

    Its not the denon i had the same problem with my samsung bd p1580 you need to update your bluray player firmware and make sure its on bitstream iam 99% possitive this will work for you it did for me and i nearly popped my tannoys its that loud now
