Yea, I heard about the outbreak too but I think people may have exaggerated a tad too bit. Nonetheless, if you think you have dengue go to the nearest hospital and get tested, as you do not want to prolong taking the medication. There is a cure but people are not taking the proper steps. I am sure you know that mosquitoes are the transmitters of this virus, they are the culprit for the spread.  Avoid leaving sitting water in your backyards as sitting, dirty water attracts mosquitoes.

The main signs of dengue fever are high fever, severe headache, severe pain behind the eyes, joint pain, muscle and bone pain, rash, and mild bleeding. There are in total 4 different types of dengue; DENV 1, DENV 2, DENV 3, or DENV 4. Each should be taken serious.

According to news reports from Pakistan, about 3,500 people have been affected with the virus in the city of Lahore. However, like other diseases or viruses poor hygiene is the main cause of this dangerous virus. I guess I was wrong about the virus being exaggerated the problem is reports only surfaced not too long ago.
