We purchased a thottle cable for my sons go-cart, secured the cable to the frame and at the appropriate spot on the motor and adjusted for the idle and accelleration. The problem is after a period of riding the inner lining of the cable pulls from the outside of the cable shortening the acceleration to almost nothing. I have then removed it and pulled the cable out and shortened the inner liner again to only have it to it again? Do I have the wrong cable? When it was purchased they said it was for a go-cart. I have a Honda 5 hp motor on it if that matters. Any help would be appreciated and my son would be able to enjoy it a little more. :)
