Meredith Vieira will reportedly relieve her duties as co-host of the "Today" show in June, with Ann Curry set to take over as co-host, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.

Subsequently, correspondent Natalie Morales will take over Curry's newsreader position, with an official announcement expected to arrive by next week.

Vieira had held the co-host chair beside Matt Lauer since 2006, when she took over for Katie Couric. According to sources, she had been contemplating her departure from "Today" before this latest development. Vieira still hosts "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" and just recently produced her first film, 'Return,' but her move to leave the successful daytime news show appears to be for personal reasons.

Meredith Louise Vieira (born December 30, 1953) is an American journalist, television personality, and game show host. She currently co-hosts NBC's Today and often contributes to Dateline NBC. She is the current host for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire in syndication, replacing Regis Philbin in 2002. She previously co-hosted ABC's daytime talk show The View (from 1997 to 2006). She also hosted Intimate Portrait, a series on Lifetime Television.

Vieira married Emmy-award winning CBS News journalist Richard M. Cohen on June 14, 1986. They reside with their three children in Irvington in Westchester County, New York. Richard Cohen has had multiple sclerosis since he was 25 years old, and has had two bouts of colon cancer, one in 1999 and one a year later.
