   Yes that is true, in the book "Marine Sniper" by Charles Henderson, He devotes a whole chapter to the Apache Woman, The real life sadistic female VC. Tho the author in the biography alluded to the fact that the woman that cut off his genitals "got off" sexually neutering him. Another account in a separate publication mentioned she was raped earlier in the war by GIs and any GIs she captured were fair game and would suffer the pain of her knife. Also in another book written by a female nurse who served in Vietnam she writes of an incident she experienced. An entire squad of GIs were captured by the Viet Cong. They were stripped and bound. All were castrated and their severed genitals shoved in their mouths. Those that survived if you can call living the rest of your life sexless living, were brought in for treatment.
