    Although the Universe is incredibly mysterious and never ceases to amaze, I highly doubt that dreaming has anything to do with selling your soul to The Devil. Satan is a bad dude no question, however the sale of each dream to him would mean some of the world's greatest dreamers did so with his aid. Those people just so happened to benefit and positively impact the lives of many. Let's not forget that many of those people have also donated generously to many a church and religion.

   
   

   There is also the fact that a dream is simply your mind's involuntary activity in your sleep. Your beautiful mind can't help but be active, particularly in some stages of sleep, therefore creating what we know as dreams. The Devil has nothing to do with the brilliant and amazing function of our brain. I am glad to report that the rumour in question is not true at all. If at all possible, you sell your soul to The Devil when you voluntarily do so for the achievement of something specific due to said deal.
