Is my boyfriend unfaithful or just too friendly??

My boyfriend and I have been together for two years. Last month we broke up but have since got back together. He went out last Friday and got so drunk he gave out his phone number to a random girl and I text her asking if he was unfaithful to me and she was like OH i didnt know he had a girlfriend. He was just some drunken flirt!!! My best mate said when he is drunk his whole personality changes, he hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. His friends and my friends were there that night and said that he leant in to talk to the random girl and the random girl thought he was trying to kiss her. He IS only young (20) and likes to go out with mates. But he gets way too drunk. I love him and want to make things work. Should I let this slide?
