Is there a medical plan for my allergic son?

My 11 year old son has a chronic allergy. He needs regular medical check up. Since, both I and my husband have medical plans covered by our employers. Can we go for an individual plan for my son?

    According to the new healthcare reform act, children will no longer be denied insurance based their pre-existing medical conditions. Tax credits will also be given to parents so that they can afford individual medical plans for their children.  Insurance companies can also not drop children from coverage when they fall sick.
