    There are two Universities in Manchester.One is University of Manchester.That is the largest and full time non-collegiate University. It includes the Manchester Business School, which offered the first MBA course in the UK in 1965. A Manchester Polytechnic was formed in 1970. It later became University in 1992. and in the same year absorbed Crewe and Alsager College of Higher Education in South Cheshire.
