    Under Pakistani  regulation,  "blood money" is a  lawful   entails  of  protecting  forgiveness from the victims. Under the qasas and diyat  regulations,   drawn from  from Islamic jurisprudence, a court can  issue  an  suspect   individual  if the victim's family  acquiesces  to a satisfactory  money  settlement.
