I am installing a software and it has 2 options to select 32 bit or 64 bit. I am running windows 7, any idea how many bit is windows7. I have asked some friends but they do not know about this. Can someone here help me in this? I am really looking for some help. I would be really great full for this. Thanks in advance for time.

Windows 7 is the latest production of Microsoft Windows, a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for consume on personal computers, incorporating house and business desktops, laptops, netbooks, tablet PCs, and media center PCs. Windows seven was freed towards manufacturing onto July 22, 2009, and reached general retail availability onto October 22, 2009, less than three years as soon as the release of its predecessor, Windows Vista. Windows 7's server counterpart, Windows Server 2008 R2, was freed at the equivalent time. This new version of windows was released as 64 bit operating system once then some 32 bits version came. But there are two major versions of these operating systems are Windows 7 professional and Windows 7 ultimate. No need to get confused with the 64bit and 32 bit. This is just the compatibility of your system on which it supports the operating system. Check the properties of your computer first then decide the version of windows 7 for it. If you have already installed windows 7 on the system then go to the properties of “my computer” it will show you the version of windows on your computer with all details of compatibility.
