    Hi,
On October 15, 2009, around 9:15 A.M., local time, three buildings across Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, were simultaneously attacked, leaving 38 dead and at least 20 wounded. The first group of terrorists attacked the Regional Headquarters of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), while the second group raided the Manawan Police Training School. The third team of terrorists attacked the Elite Police Academdy
According to Punjab Home Secretary Nadeem Hassan Asif, the Federal Investigation Agency's regional headquarters in Lahore was attacked by four individuals. Initial shots killed two [of them], including a suicide bomber. Hostages were taken, including officials. As a result, an operation was launched lasting 1 1/2 hours, ending by 11 A.M. In the end, four government employees, including three FIA agents, and a bystander were killed
The Elite Force Training Center, situated at Bedian Road, was attacked by six men in militia uniforms. It is located 5 kilometers from the Manawan Police Training School, which was also attacked. Six policemen and four militants were killed. Only one was killed by the police; the three other were suicide bombers, and blew themselves up.
Ten people were killed, with 37 wounded.
Many such attacks over the past year have been carried out by Taliban, or Punjabi militant groups or, as in the army headquarters attack last weekend, a combination of both. According to GEO News, the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan claimed responsibility for the attack
