    Steve Jobs described the new operating system, Lion, as "Mac OS X meets the iPad."
    Lion will offer a Mac App Store, a "Launch Pad" (Jobs calls it a "homescreen for your apps just like on the iPad"), as well as the ability to use full-screen apps. It will also support multi-touch gestures.
    Jobs highlighted an additional feature dubbed "Mission Control" that he said offers "a way to view everything running on your Mac and instantly navigate to [it]."
    Apple plans to release Lion by summer 2011.
