    Passengers arriving at the airport by car may be dropped off with their luggage at the new drop off area situated across from the front of the terminal building. Please note that this is a one minute zone only. Drivers are asked not to park kerbside whilst seeing passengers off, or waiting for passengers to arrive, regardless of whether the driver remains with the car. Should visitors wish to stay longer than the one minute allowed in this zone, please follow the road around to the short term car park entry and park the car.
    Townsville Airport is trialling passenger pick up in this area on the right hand side kerb. This area is also a one minute zone.
    Parking fines apply to any vehicle parked in contravention of signage on airport.
