Old Punter has hung up his bat in the short form of the game, is this a wise decision from the Australian batsman as many players are doing the opposite to stay in the lucrative 20:20 game.

Old Punter has quit the Twenty:20 game has he? That’s a shame he is a top class player, but it shows his dedication to the sport that he will leave behind the lucrative Twenty:20 to concentrate on test match cricket. Good on ya Punter! It would be nice to see more players follow suit.

By the way Gareth, I hate to pick you up on your grammar but its Pnting not Pointing! I'm sure you knew that though!
