i have a volvo 740. i'd like to switch the clutch+transmission out for an automatic. manuals arent my forte and i have little money to buy another ride. think you can help with the cost and how to do it?

You can replace the manual with an automatic, but it's a big job and a mechanic will charge a lot of money to get it done. Generally, depending on your mechanic, they will find one for you, or you can get one ordered from a local junkyard. Another suggestion, which would be cheaper, is to sell your manual and buy a similar Volvo with an automatic.
