Report bad travel agents and report them now. Behind every vacation that goes wrong is a travel agent who only was in it for one time deal and didn't really care about what you would go through when things don't go well.

Report your bad travel agent here so others can avoid him and have their trip in peace.

    Tammy Vong.  She is such a hoax.  She takes advantage of unsuspecting brides who are trying to share resources on her so called public forum.  It is worse than timeshare salesmen!

    Please be aware that she only has one intention in her forum...to get rich by forcing you to use her travel agents in order to gain information that could be valuable to many other brides.  It is truly disgusting.

    Hi I recently dealt with TAMMY VONG.  She is an administrator for BestDestinationWedding Forums.  I registered and didn't properly read the instructions about the "point system".  Apparently I used all my points in opening attachments and they locked me out.  I didn't promote enough.  So I asked to close my profile and I would try to register again and "follow the rules" so to speak.  Her answer was no, I abused the site and blocked my IP address.  Very extreme for a fun and free forum???  She had my work email and also blocked that IP address.

    HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF OUR EMAILS:
    I wrote:
    Hi there, this is not so much a complaint as an enquiry.
    I recently registered with Best Destination Wedding Forum to help plan our upcoming wedding and hopefully find information on Travel Agents, Photographers, Venues etc.  The site was recommended in a book I recently purchased.

    I apparently didn't read the rules, not sure I even saw them.  Of course being new on the site I went crazy with enquiries, viewing attachments etc. not realizing that it would cause me to lose access by using up "points".

    I sent an enquiry to your Admin Team and was only told I had no points left.  The response was very to the point and did not offer up any suggestions or recommendations.  I certainly didn't intentionally get to this point although I should have ensured I fully understood how things worked.  Bottom line, I was advised I had no points left and no access to anything.  Without knowing of any other options I then asked to close my profile, in the hopes I could re-register and have a better go the 2nd time around.

    Since that time I can no longer even view this website as my "IP address has been blocked".  I have sent several requests and all have been ignored.  

    I am just discussing this with coworkers who suggested I first attempt an email explaining the situation.  I'm not trying to join the Mafia here, just a wedding website ha-ha.  Please take the time to respond, it would be appreciated.  I enjoyed your web site and found it very informative.

    I will search online to see if any others are experiencing issues with your site in the hopes someone can enlighten me.

    Kyla,

    YOU chose not to read the rules that were sent to you when you registered, that are also stickied all over the forum, and that are in ALL the siggies of the moderators and admin so you do not miss them.

    YOU chose to have your account closed resulting in the IP ban without asking any questions about how you could continue on the site.

    Just because YOU did not take the time to ask the necessary questions about points, downloads, etc, it is now not OUR problem to take the time to get you re-instated.

    We are all busy.  The moderators and admin are NOT paid and do this on a volunteer basis in their free time.

    It actually takes time to figure out what your IP is and then go and remove it from the exclusion list.

    MY EMAIL TO TAMMY VONG:

    Oh my goodness.  I in no way meant my email to upset you.  I'm sorry for the inconvenience and you are correct I should have paid more attention.

    I realize you are volunteers and that is always appreciated.  I still however think your tone is inappropriate and uncalled for.  This is a time that is supposed to be exciting for your subscribers.  I know you can cancel a subscription at any time and without reason but there is obviously no concern for this website's reputation.

    Thank you for providing your name.  Again, I am sorry for causing you so much grief.

    YOU asked me to cancel your membership.  do you not remember that?  i saved the email.

    if you look back at the email, you asked why your priviledges were gone and i explained that it was because you were in the negative points and when that happened you automatically lose forum priviledges.  your response was to ask that your membership be cancelled, which i did, per YOUR request.

    it was YOUR actions that have brought you here so to place blame elsewhere is uncalled for and does not make ANYONE want to help your situation.

    As you can see there is no resolving issues with Tammy Vong.  I enjoy the website but its not worth the hassel.  She is rude and unaccomodating.  The brides on the site on the other hand are awesome and informative....but they are on other sites as well.  I kick myself for wasting time on this disrespectful and unprofessional woman.

    Oh wow that explains so much!  I got kicked off of this stupid forum and I had no idea why.  I never got an email and nobody would respond to me.  I was trying to help out other brides by offering suggestions of vendors I used and I got kicked off!  Does anyone know of other sites that we can use?  I can still gain access to the page..hehe, tricks on them!  I would like to participate in a better forum though...any thoughts?
