    The Cathedral of the Good Shepherd appealed for donations for its Cathedral Restoration Fund, which aims to restore the cathedral premises as there are cracks and other structural faults in the building. This is due to Land Transport Authority (LTA) works during the construction of the Bras Basah MRT station, and natural wear and tear over its hundred over years history, which may affect the structural integrity of the cathedral. The cathedral needs around $40 million, of which $5 million has been raised.
