The Toyota Mark X ZiO is a station wagon and is manufactured by Toyota, it is introduced in the year 2007. It replaces the Mark II Blit wagon. The cabin of ZiO's  can accommodate from four to seven passengers. In the "personal sedan mode," a tonneau board with dual tonneau cover creates a vehicle which is just like sedan. There is a “friendly minivan mode” that adds seating for more passengers as it raises the third row seat in the cargo space. The name ZiO suggests spaciousness and about the Cargo Capacity which means “Zone in One.” Although it is pretty much similar in concept but it does not share a platform with Venza.

It also won the Good Design Award which was given by Japan Industrial Design Promotion Organization. According to the Japanese regulations regarding the exterior dimensions, the Mark X ZiO is regarded as compact vehicle, the engine displacements exceeds the 2000 cc limit, and the width is over by 85 mm.

The Mark X ZiO shares some new features with the Mark X apart from his name. The ZiO chassis is now derived from the Auris. The 2.4 L ZiO is now available in front-wheel drive or also the four wheel drive  with the 2AZ-FE motor and with Continuously variable transmission (CVT). The 3.5 L ZiO is now available in the front wheel drive only with the 2GR-FE motor and with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
