Pakistan embassy in Japan was sold for cheap in 2007. Islamabad high court moved against selling the building of Pakistan embassy in Japan at a cheaper rate. Japan chapter human rights commission president Amjad iqbal filed the petition. Pakistan embassy in Japan was located in a posh area covering 2249.10 square feet. Just the land value of the embassy in 2006/07 was 12 billion yet while it was sold for 6.3 million yen. Ambassador of Pakistan in Japan at that time established his own steel mill by the name of Ayesha Steel Mills near Karachi but where did he get the money for the steel mill is the question to be asked. Mr. Amjad Iqbal's lawyer Ahamd tarrar ask the Islamabad High Court to order an inquiry into the illegal sale of the building.
