Should Umer Akmal be preferred over Asad Shafiq in the Pakistan Cricket Team?

   There is no doubt that in Pakistan Cricket Team, Umer Akmal is known to be a good hitter and  can make the ball fly all over the place when it matters. The point of concern at present is not just hard hitting, but the situation requires a batsman who is able to hold the innings together which usually is the job of a number three batsman. Although Kamran Akmal has been coming at this position but this has virtually created an extra burden over him besides wicket keeping. Asad Shafiq has done well at this position, not in the last match against Zimbabwe which Pakistan won rather comprehensively, but he was also impressive during the England tour last year, showing some good temperament. He should be given chance in the coming matches.
