   didn't understand your question, can you please provide more details?  9 year old boy is nervous being seen by who? some young kids are shy at first with strangers around but as they get to know you; they become themselves again.  he might be quite modest or nervous because he may not know you.

   The answer is you should not be bathing anyone over 5 or 6-peroid. It is wrong and illegal.
   CAn you imaging a boy bathing a girl 9 years old? Of course not-The boy is modest for a reason, give him his privacy and be responsible and leave him alone. You can get into big trouble!!!!!! Listen to the little voice in your hear screming NO NO NO No

   If a boy is nervous about being seen at this age he is in trouble in the real world of boys bath rooms then, or later in the military. Men do not have shower curtains in the locker rooms, many urnals are not much more the a trough along a wall, like most country fair grounds, so if he is bashful about his body he most likely has a nanny Mother who all her life has  probably herself had a personal problem with  nudity.  I can hear her now, right after his baths, "Hurry up! Cover up ! Get some clothes on ! " A sissy is in trouble and because of his weak upbringing.
