   The Toyota Crown Majesta is a full-size luxury automobile, it is similar to the Jaguar XJ, Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Audi A8, Volkswagen Phaeton, Maserati Quattroporte and also the BMW 7 series. The Toyota Crown Majesta has the stretched variant of UZS platform series but it is not just the upper trim level of the Crown sedan, the Majesta is a quite separate car with its unique styling and the interior treatment. The Crown Majesta was then introduced as the more substantial alternative to much smaller Toyota Crown. The Crown Majesta was then developed for the Japanese Domestic Market, as a much more modern alternative to traditional Toyota Century in the year 1989 but it has now recently been released in other countries like in Asia, such as China. The Toyota Crown Majesta is now very well equipped when it is compared with its other rivals such like the BMW 7 series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and in Asia, it can also be compared with Nissan Fuga and Hyundai Equus as its traditional competitor. After the discontinuation of the Toyota Celsior in Japan, the Toyota Crown Majesta is Toyota's flagship mainstream car, that has a higher price than all of its models except the Toyota Century.
   
   The Crown Majesta is also manufactured by Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Company Ltd, China but it is badged as the “Crown Royal Saloon”. There are three different petrol engines which are available such as 2.5L , 3.0 L and the 4.3 L.
