The largest museum of Latin America has 47 meters high and a facade composed of 16 thousand bright hexagons, was inaugurated on March 28. The Soumaya houses the nation's largest private art collection.

Level 1

On this floor you have a date with the New World where paintings and sculptures are presented unedited, with religious theme, but we 're talking about everyday reality of New Spain. You will be part of the art of people like Juan Sánchez SalmerÃ_n, CristÃ_bal de Villalpando and Juan Correa, among others, they are representing the culture of Mexico Independent.

Level 5

In this sample you can enjoy expressions of eighteenth and nineteenth century as neoclassicism and Romanticism. You'll find Mexican works of Pelegrin Clave, and Bustos Hermegildo José MarÃ_a Estrada.
