While racing along at about 9-10 knots, the daggerboard on my sunfish hit bottom. The force on the sail caused the mast to collapse the hole/sleeve in which the mast sits. The mast was leaning about 45 degrees when the incident was over. Is there a repair sleeve which can be inserted in the hull which is small enough to go in, but big enough to accept the mast? Are there any options for repairing the damage, or, as my gut tells me, is that the last I will sail my 30+ year old sunfish?
