    Vitamin D is an important nutrient that our body creates the intervention of sunlight. It helps us absorb calcium, improve our immune system and, according to breastcancer.org, recent studies even linked to the prevention of breast cancer.

    Modern women spend more time away from the sun at home or the office, so we do not produce enough vitamin D. Additionally, sunscreen production decreases vitamin (although use can also cause cancer).

    Looking to take vitamin D supplements I recommend going to your doctor to prescribe you all, but if you just want to add to your diet is to eat more seafood (like sardines, scallops and salmon) or consume beverages containing it supplement (some brands of milk or orange juice).

    You can also try to do more outdoor activities like picnics in the park or go for a walk, and if you have any questions please consult your doctor.
