Here are some tips to help you plan your family’s trip at Sydney aircraft and assist in making your journey more comfortable.  Remember, planning carefully for your trip is likely to enhance the experience for the whole family.
    BEFORE DEPARTURE
Passports and Visas for International Travel:
All family members, including infants, will require a passport when travelling internationally at Sydney aircraft. Make sure passports and any necessary visas are valid for everyone travelling, both for the countries you will be visiting and for transit stops. Your airline, travel agent or the internet will be able to provide you with the relevant information.
    Health Requirements:
Arrange to have all necessary inoculations well in advance of your departure date. Your local doctor is the best person to advise you in this area.
    Medication:
If you or your children take any medication make sure you speak with your local doctor for advice. You may find individual airports and countries have their own special requirements which you must abide by, for example:
You may be permitted to carry medication for your child provided it has been prescribed by a doctor; however the medicine must display the pharmacist’s label and the name on the label must be identical to that on your child’s passport; or
You may also find that if you are carrying medications which contain sharps (i.e. for injections) or require refrigeration (i.e. ice bricks) you will need to have an accompanying letter from your child’s doctor.
