Unusual Valentines day gift ideas, go for it and make this feb 14 special - Around the world Valentines day is a day to celebrate your love, its a day that shows you are not alone, you have someone who cares for you, someone who is there for you and someone who loves you.

If that is the true why do you buy the same old things every year, why chocolates and flowers are the norm?  Being creative takes some thought process, it requires you to think about your better half and see what would truly make this valentines day different from the past.  You don’t have to spend lot of money, you don’t have to buy diamonds (although no girl would say no) just do something that shows, you know and you understand your other half.
You can’t go to the mall and breeze through everything from boxer shorts to stuffed animals with red hearts; The thoughtful present is the one that counts. Take the time to listen to clues for what she or he really wants. This might be a book that they mentioned looks interesting, or if they're a collector, something new for their collectibles shelf. Most guys would far rather have a pair of tickets to their favorite sports team than a bunch of flowers, and many girls would rather have those tickets than an impersonal heart-shaped box of chocolates.
I would love to hear from others who can share some interesting unusual way to spend this Valentines…..

    Unusual Valentines day

I don't know why it has to be one day in a year to show you care. my other half shows it throughout the year.  for those who’s other half is not like mine, here is a very good way to show your emotions.  Set some time aside just for yourselves; no kids, no family, no friends and no making love (at least not until  you run out of all activities).  Divide the day into time blocks; which can be from 30 minutes to one hour at a time.

Each person takes the time block and gets the other to do whatever they want.  If you think you can’t manage something within an hour; ask to trade the block with your partner so you have multiple hours at a time.  each person is responsible for coming up with activity during their block of time.  if you use your imagination; having a full control over your other half you can really do some very interesting stuff but remember they have their block of time also so be nice.

Giving each other a block of time is a good idea but need lots of time for it: i can only imagine, if i gave my other half a block of time - i will regret it for the rest of my life but since the idea is unique i'll try it this valentine day for about 30 min. i get the first block of time  though.
