    Hi! there.
I suspect that they may be millipedes, which are not insects, but arthropods in the class Diplopoda. If its really that then the following products are used in elimination, prevention and control of millipedes and other household pests.  In most cases, it is best to combine the use of a professional, long residual spray with a professional insecticide dust when dealing with millipede infestations.

    Hope this helps

It's difficult to say without a picture or more information, but I would guess that they are the larvae of some sort of fly, and are probably just feeding off of bacteria or other microbial growth in a wet environment. Most likely harmless, but if they bother you, cleaning with bleach will probably take care of them.

    Thanks For asking.

I have what I think is something similar in my barn conversion.  Mainly on the ceiling of my wetroom. About 2-3mm long thin dark brown/black and having to look real close seem to be more caterpillar like with lots of legs.
I see them here and there throughout the house in small numbers, but in wetroom can be upto 20 per day. Keep squashing them but more come next day. Only notice them as I have magnolia walls and they show up to the trained eye. Have had whole place professionally sprayed against woodworm and am surprised they haven't been affected.

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THEY ARE? AND HOW TO ERADICATE THEM ONCE AND FOR ALL?

They sound carpet beetle larvae. You might want to llok them up and see if that is it.
