When the gland produce lot of oil, the pore becomes blocked thus dirt and bacteria surrounds it and a blockage is created. If the acne ruptures, the material inside the oil and bacteria spreads all over it and causes inflammatory reaction on the skin and if the inflammation is deep in the skin, the pimples then become enlarge to form painful cysts.
