   In Skardu there is large collection of lofty peaks, including K-2 the world's second highest peak, and huge glaciers like Baltoro, Biafo and Siachen, some of the largest in the world outside the Polar region. In Skardu large amount of apricots, peaches, pears and apples are also produced. Other places are Kharfocho Fort, Mindoq Khar, Hilal Bagh and Chahar Bagh, Buddhist Rock, Satpara Lake, Kachura Lake, Shigar Valley and Khaplu Valley
