   In my humble opinion, one of the absolute greatest shows of all time that never gets the love it deserves is The Wire, an HBO show that ran from 2002-2008. Set in and around the Baltimore, Maryland area, the shows 5 seasons explored a different facet of the city of Baltimore that were seemingly different but always intertwined. It is incredible well written and has created strong careers for various stars including Idris Elba, Michael K. Williams, Wood Harris and Dominic West.
