What is Cat Allergy Due To?

I've always had sensitive skin, but since about 2000 I've been dealing with a skin rash, I had a cat in my home. Is my condition is due to cat allergy. Is there any web site which helps me.

    The major cat allergen, called Fel d 1, is found in cat saliva, dander from sebaceous glands in the skin, fur, and anal sebaceous glands. Other cat allergens, including albumin, are found in the urine, saliva and blood.
