What is the cause of palladium allergy?

My 9 years old younger sister is allergic to nickel and palladium. Please help me out what is the cause of Palladium allergy? Is there any website which can guide me about the problem I am asking about?

    Palladium is used to make white gold. So, if you experience an allergic reaction to white gold (containing palladium), you might be having palladium allergy.
    Since nickel is also used in white gold, if you develop an allergic to white gold (containing nickel), you might be having nickel allergy.
