Collecting information and updates about new car models is one of my favourite hobbies. Although buying a brand new car is way too far out of my reach but that is how I enjoy myself. I have several posters of various Ferrari models on the walls of my room. I just want to know the actual difference between Enzo and FXX.

Before knowing about the difference between Enzo and FXX it is better to know the basics of these two models of Ferrari. Enzo Ferrari is a 12 cylinder mid-engine berlinetta , built in 2002 and named after the company's founder, Enzo Ferrari. It uses Formula One technology, such as a carbon-fiber body, F1-style electro-hydraulic shift transmission, and Carbon fibred-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) ceramic composite disc brakes. On the other hand Ferrari FXX is a high performance race car, built in 2005 and based on the street-legal Enzo. It uses some technology developed from the Enzo, and unites it with some innovative developments from Ferrari and its suppliers. Now the basic difference between the two is that FXX runs faster than Enzo and has a few hundred extra horsepower and a lot more aero dynamic features. It is not street legal and can only be driven on the racing tracks. FXX’s gearbox combines the latest developments from Ferrari's F1 program and has a shift time less than 100 ms and the brake pads are upgraded as compare to those on the Enzo.
