    I would have to say The Godfather Part 2. It became the first sequal to win Best Picture. It also won Best Director, Best Screenplay, and Best Supporting Actor. It received a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and can hold is own against the original which I think just might be the greatest movie ever made.

     It might just be Lord of the Rings the Return of the King. When this movie came out it was the second highest grossing movie at the time behind Titanc. It was nominated for 11 Oscars and won all 11 awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay. This movie had a great story line, solid acting and even better graphics.
