   From the date of visa application funds shall be minimum of 28 days old and has to be available in active savings or current account. The title of the account shall be in the name of student or a joint account has to be opened for the student and the sponsor. From 21st August 2009, UK government has made some flexibility that funds can be shown in the name of parents/Guardian also.
