     When it comes to box office success the most successful movie series is Harry Potter with the 8 movies grossing over $7.723 billion worldwide. James Bond and the Marvel Comic book series round out the top three respectively. Don’t be surprise if the Marvel Comic series surpasses Harry Potter in the near future as there have been 7 movies grossing just over $5 billion and Thor 2, Captain America 2, Avengers 2 still to come out in the next couple of years. There are also rumors that there could be at least 1 more Iron Man movie and a third Avengers movie.
