I have hears about a rare earth plant by Australia and so I am looking for more. Any ideas anyone?

    Rare earth minerals are used in high-tech batteries, televisions, mobile phones, defense and aviation.
    An Australian company preparing to open a rare earth processing plant in Malaysia is facing accusations it is using the country as a dumping ground for radioactive waste.
    Western Australia's Mt Weld is said to hold the biggest deposits of the rare earth minerals in the world other than in China. This rare earth processing plant is a $228 million project that will be completed within the next six months, but the country's atomic energy agency has yet to give it approval to start processing.
