    The new series of BBC1 drama Waterloo Road has started again. It has already won awards.
    The new terms kicks off with fresh arrivals for both staff and students, but the bell has hardly finished ringing before the teachers are up in arms over Head teacher Karen Fisher’s controversial scheme to separate the boys and girls in order to improve grades.
    New members of the cast include Robson Green, who is a love interest for Karen and Northern Lights Mark Benton,
    Guest appearances include Philip Martin Brown, Shannon Flynn and Linzey Cocker.
    There are lot of food fights, punch-ups and allegations of different types on people in the first episode.
