What should I use so that Google analytics does not track my visit on a page?

There is a website that I want to read but the creator uses Google analytics. I would prefer to stay anonymous and was wondering how I could stop Google analytics from knowing I visited the site.

    You can use the Google Analytics Opt Out Browser Add-on if you don't wish to send any information about your visit.
