   Black Friday takes place on the second day of  Thanksgiving  in the United States, it traditionally marks  the start of the Christmas shopping season. On Black Friday, many retailers open their business very early, often at 4 a.m., or even  earlier then that, and offer promotional sales to kick off the shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales in many commonwealth countries.
