As I planning to shift to United Kingdom, what are the houses like in United Kingdom so that I can find the best house for living.

    Most houses in England are made of stone or brick from the local area where the houses are built. The colors of the stones and bricks vary across the country.
    England has many types of homes. In the large cities, people often live in apartments, which are called flats. In most towns, there are streets of houses joined together in long rows. They are called terraced houses.

    Main types of houses in United Kingdom are

    Detached

    It is a house which is not joined to another house.

    Semi-Detached

    In this type two houses are joined together.

    Terrace

    In this type there are several house are connected to each other.
    Flats
    These are apartments for single or two persons. It has less space as compared to the House.
