According to the latest economic news, it has been heard that the prices of petroleum goods are gonna see a new hike in coming days. What actually will happen if petrol goes up to Rs. 85 (PKR) per litre? Will the nation still survive this new wound by the government as they did in past or this time people will stand up like People's Revolutions in Egypt and Lebanon?

Well in my personal opinion, this dead nation (I must say) won't wake up this time too. A proverb gets well-set on it:

"In ancient times, there was a King who enjoyed teasing and pinching people with different techniques from time to time. Once he decided to pinch people and ordered his ministers and advisors to spread the word that from now on, everybody has to pay taxes. The very next day, people came into flocks to the palace to deposit their taxes. When the kind judged that this technique has failed, he ordered his men to tighten the procedure by asking people to pay their taxes and get beaten alongside. From the next day, people were beaten while collecting taxes and this time also, nobody stood up and spoke anything. This scenario kept on driving for few days when an old man stood up and went to the palace claiming to the king to enhance number of people beating the nation, the reason being they get late from their works.”

This is the actual situation of our nation in true essence. They'll bear everything, but won't stand up for the right!
