There are various myths, traditions and stories about the start of Halloween in different countries and regions. A friend of mine was telling me a different story about it whereas the stories about the original date I have heard from other sources are different. In order to get to know the real date of Halloween, I even studied its history, as it added much into my knowledge, but still, I could not get the real date of the start of Halloween. Can you please tell me the exact date of the beginning of Halloween, so that I can incorporate it into a book I am currently writing for kids? Your kind help will add to my knowledge a lot and I’ll appreciate your efforts. Thanks.

As far as I know about the history and date of the beginning of Halloween, it begun in different regions with different dates, but when it comes to Ireland, here it started about 2,000 years ago with an assembly of individuals called the Celtics. They accepted in a god of theirs known as the Samhain who is said to be the god of both darkness and dead. As 31st October was advised as the end of year and as an outcome, they chucked a giant commemoration that was renowned as Samhain. This commemoration of the after summer collection and the New Year of Celtic, when they accepted spirits can arrive back and stay with their dwelling relatives, it was the widely accepted date of the start of Halloween.
