   Kelly Brianne Clarkson is one of renowned American pop rock singer-songwriter and actress. Clarkson gained mainstream recognition after winning the inaugural season of the television series American Idol in 2002 and would later become the runner-up in the television special World Idol in 2003.Up till now Kelly has released four albums under RCA Records: her debut album Thankful  was double-platinum released in 2003, her second album Breakaway, which was released in 2004 and  it won two Grammy Awards and it was multi-platinum album. After the first season of American Idol ended, Clarkson began with Idol runner-up Justin Guarini in the movie From Justin to Kelly in 2003. But the film was highly criticized by critics and grossed only $5 million at the North American box office, less than half its reported budget. Clarkson has told in interviews that she is surprised when people send her scripts after From Justin to Kelly, often citing contractual obligation as her sole reason for involvement in the film. In the television drama American Dreams, she played Brenda Lee and appeared in the sitcom Reba. In 2002, she also took part in sketch comedy on MADtv and Saturday Night Live .
