   The Indian Hotels Company, which owns the Taj Mahal Palace and Tower, has said it has adequate insurance cover in place and is working with  
   reputed agencies to sanitise and repair it for reopening the Tower wing on priority.
   
   "Our preliminary understanding is that the Tower wing of the hotel has not suffered any significant damage, while the heritage wing did suffer from the impact of severe assault," the company informed the stock-exchanges on Wednesday.
   
   On Tuesday morning, the police had formally handed over custody of the hotel back to the company management, it said, adding that, "specialist external agencies have been contracted by us to assess the damage and to quantify the costs and timelines for the repair and restoration of the hotel."
   
   According to the statement, the attack on the hotel beginning last Wednesday night and lasting till Saturday morning, had resulted in the death of 10 employees and injured 11 others, who have been hospitalised.
   
   In addition, the attack had caused casualties among the guests and non-resident guests, whose numbers are under confirmation by the authorities, the statement added.
